Hello. I have finally managed to register on this site. The last time I tried it kept throwing me out!  Angry

For those of you that don't know me, I am an avid combi-camp fan, bongo fan and Quechua fan! I have had a serious number of combis over the years and currently have a 1986-88 Sport called Phoebe. Phoebe is undergoing some essential repairs as the canvas is rather tired, mainly to make her watertight and to fit the awning over the frame properly (shrunk).

I have been given (yes, given) a 2000-04 Raclet Solena recently, now called Bertha. I am having the corner of the frame repaired and then I'll be off in that too. It has a full awning and a sun canopy.

On short breaks I tend to sleep in Tintin, the unconverted bongo, with a quechua base tent for my living stuff, and this is probably what I'll bring to the New Forest meet at the beginning of August, especially as I'm a guest of Paol! I have a second quechua base tent and have camped for longer weekends with the two base tents twinned, using one for a bedroom and one for living. This is a better option for hot summer nights ( Roll Eyes as Tintin tends to get a little warm. I was camping over New Year last year, sleeping in Tintin. Had a wonderful time with some bongo friends.

Oh - choices! I love 'em  Grin
