As a young lad I loved camping in my old FORD CANTERBURY conversion... every year down to PAR BEACH  near St Austell... after personal difficulties, I gave up camping.

Several years had gone by, a second marriage ....

we were invited to do some work with my friends rock n  roll band .... on the Isle of Man, during the TT races... it was very short notice indeed...  so we shot out to PJ camping, which is up the road to us...chose a two berth tent, a double sleeping bag. ( we were eating out )

got home, packed some clothes for our stay, needless to say we travelled in our leathers..lol

travelled up to Liverpool for the ferry... arrived at Douglas...

Found a site with a load of bikers, it was great... then Night time...

we had erected the tent, and placed our baggage inside... thinking no more...

As there was no room inside the tent for our baggage, whilst we bedded down... we had to put it all under the silly little canopy attatched to the tent... YES you guessed.. it really Kissed down that night.. everything got wrecked....

the golden rule is?....

Camping is a leisure activity, and not a political minefield!
