Hello there My name is Paul and I`m a classic mini fan and a Teardrop trailer fanatic. I live near Pontefract west yorks (the home of Haribo and Europes longest flat horse racing course)
I`m married to Karen and have 2 kids, Hope 10 and John 6. I have been camping all my life as has the kids. I converted arr lass after we got married. We are semi-rough-it type campers, I have many a time camped in the woods with only a tarp and doss bag (ex army)
I built my own light weight teardrop trailer to tow behind my 1981 Mini clubman estate, it took 2 years on and off to complete and we have used it on numerous occasions in the year since it was finished.
We are members on various different camping and Mini forums but mainly www.tcgb.freeforums.org
Here are a couple of pics of my 1950`s Benroy teardrop trailer replica, named the Mini Camper built using mainly new parts with some recycled catches etc

Hi  from the darkest depths of Dagenham...  we may well be getting our snorkles out soon...
however I think you all brightend our day a little, those pics are great... am I right in saying that the last pic,was taken prior to completion?

It would have been Martin from turtle trailers you saw at Newark. He is a good mate of mine but has now sold the company. They are easy enough to build however you want them. we have a design library on www.tcgb.freeforums.org where you can download and print the designs and profiles etc. My mini club attendance has nose dived and Victor the Clubby hasn`t moved for a while now. There was a lot of bickering in the club.
